Brushes for Face Painting - Brush Care

So there are many brushes on the market here is what we love.

Loew Cornell and Mark Reid brushes are top favorites for curls swirls and basic face painting.
We love too Kryolan, Mehron and Paradise brushes for fine detail and flats - just great brushes.

Here are some brush care tips from Loew-Cornell

Use These Tips To Keep Your Brushes In Top-working Condition:

l When loading, using or cleaning, move hairs in their natural direction.

l Do not leave a brush soaking in liquid for extended periods,
especially resting on its bristles.

l Take care not to let paint work its way up into the ferrule. Paint is
hard to remove from this area. Accumulated paint will cause the
brush to swell, resulting in a loss of brush shape and spring.

l Never allow paint to dry in your brush.

l Keep the level of liquid in your water container below the ferrule/handle attachment. Excessive moisture can swell the wood, resulting in the paint coating cracking and peeling, and a loose ferrule.
